Each year, the one that is nicknamed “The City of Light” welcomes more than 38 million tourists while 109 million passengers travel through its airports.
In 2014, the City of Paris launched its brand “Ville de Paris” to promote the refinement of the Parisian art of living through the marketing of derivative products.
Since then, half a million products have been sold in 26 countries.

THE INSPIRATIONS
THE 60’S IN SAINT GERMAIN DES PRÈS
The design of the collection was inspired by the Paris of the 1960s and the art of living of the emblematic Parisian neighborhood of Saint Germain des Près.
LA NOUVELLE VAGUE
The collection is impregnated with the influences of the “Nouvelle Vague” (“New Wave”) films and their iconic actors/actresses such as Jean Paul Belmondo, Brigitte Bardot or Catherine Deneuve, and the fashion designers who emerged at the same time: Yves Saint-Laurent, Courrèges and Pierre Cardin
THE DÉTAILS
ROUNDED FORMS
Rounded forms and bright colors, with some oversized models, take us directly to the atmosphere of the 60’s.
STONE OR OAK WOOD FROM PARIS
The frames are made from organic ricin oil (70%) and either stone from Paris area (used for the construction of the famous haussmannian buildings) or oak from Paris gardens and parks (30% in both cases). Thus, each frame is literally made from a piece of Paris while respecting the environment.
THE EIFFEL TOWER
The most famous emblem of Paris: The Eiffel Tower, is proudly highlighted on the exterior of the left temple and the interior of both temples. It is completely embedded into the material so as to bring modernity with a 3D effect while the golden, silver or transparent lacquer applied to The Eiffel Tower brings sophistication and elegance.
PARIS AS A LUXURY BRAND
PARIS appears on the exterior of each right temple positioning the City of Light as a premium brand.
